A custom-built Miami mansion surrounded by a sculpture garden and topiary was relisted Friday for $22.5 million.
The art continues to the interiors, which includes chandeliers by the likes of famous glass artist Dale Chihuly and Barovier & Toso, an Italian company specializing in Venetian glass, according to the listing with Chad Carroll of the Carroll Group at Compass. The property, located in the Coral Gables neighborhood, also includes 200-feet of water frontage on Biscayne Bay and a rooftop terrace.
“It’s not just a house. It’s a whole lifestyle,” Mr. Carrol said. “It’s got gorgeous, manicured courtyards throughout the property, front and back, sculptures and just meticulously landscaped grounds.”
The home sits on about a half an acre, with a 8,552-square-foot home. The sellers, who spent upwards of $20 million on the land and construction of the property, purposely designed a slightly smaller home, Mr. Carroll noted.
The residence also features six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a sculptural staircase, marble pillars and floors, a chef’s kitchen with emerald quartz countertops, loggias and a pool overlooking the bay, according to the listing. There’s also a “cathedral-like” stone pathway to the water, Mr. Carroll added.
